Background To test the GPIB functionality, National
Instruments Measurement and Automation
Explorer can be used. Users need to install NI488.2.

Requirements Operating System: Windows XP, 7, 8
Functionality 1. Press “Meter” key, make sure the instrument is
check ready for remote control. Start the NI
Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)
program. Using Windows, press:
Start>All Programs>NI Max
2. From the Configuration panel access;
My System>Devices and Interfaces>GPIB
3. Press Scan for Instruments.
